Welcome to Swiss Bar Shop
We love bars – and everything that goes with them.
Swiss Bar Shop was born out of a passion for good drinks and beautiful bars.
Behind the shop is a small team of bar enthusiasts in Zurich. Through many years of experience behind the bar and at home, we have realized how difficult it is to find truly special glasses and tools without having to click through mass-produced goods or buy large quantities from wholesalers.
What we do differently
Instead of building up a huge stock of standard goods, we focus on a careful selection of products that we ourselves would like to have in our hands:
- Special glass shapes and designs that are hard to find in Switzerland
- High-quality shakers, strainers, and bar tools with character
- Solid basic equipment that we deliberately choose to complement our range
Many of our items come from smaller manufacturers and specialized producers in Europe and Asia. Our range is constantly reviewed and adjusted—if we are no longer convinced by something, it is replaced or removed. We prefer to have less choice, but make sure it's consistent.
Why we work with direct shipping
We don't operate a large central warehouse. Instead, we work with selected manufacturers and distributors who send part of the products directly to you after you place your order.
This has three consequences:
1. Special selection instead of standard product
We can offer designs and products that traditional retailers often don't stock because small quantities are not profitable for them.
2. Direct delivery
Your order won't sit on dusty shelves for months. It will be sent directly from the manufacturer to you, saving CO2 by avoiding unnecessary transport to and from warehouses.
3. Slightly longer delivery time
The disadvantage: your order will not arrive within 24 hours. Most shipments take approx. 10–14 working days, depending on the manufacturer and product. To compensate for the waiting time, we will cover the shipping costs: shipping is always free for you.
Swiss shop – international manufacturers
Legally and organizationally, you are dealing with a Swiss shop:
- The company headquarters and support are in Zurich
- We are your point of contact for questions, problems, and returns
- We carefully select our partners and are in direct contact with them
Our manufacturers are located all over the world. This means you benefit from an international selection without having to forego an accessible point of contact.
Honest instead of perfect
We want to be transparent: our model is not ideal for everyone.
If you need something tomorrow, we are not the right place for you.
But if you don't mind waiting a little to get a special piece for your bar, then you've come to the right place.
