Refund policy

Right of withdrawal / right of return

We grant you a 14-day right of return. Unfortunately, returns or exchanges are no longer possible after 14 days from receipt of the goods.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

The following items are excluded from the right of return:

  •     Perishable goods (e.g., food, beverages, flowers)
  •     Discounted items / sale items
  •     Gift cards
  •     Hygiene and intimate items
  •     Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases

For returns, we require proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice).

Returns

Please do not send the item back directly to the manufacturer. Instead, contact us first by email at rueckerstattung@barshop.ch. We will then provide you with the instructions.

As the customer, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. These are non-refundable. 
For goods valued at over CHF 75, we recommend shipping with tracking or insurance.

Refunds

After receiving and reviewing your return, we will notify you by email whether it has been accepted or rejected.
If approved, the refund will be automatically credited to your original payment method.

Delayed refunds:
If you do not see a refund, please check your bank or credit card account first. If necessary, contact your credit card company or bank, since it may take some time for the refund to be posted.

Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective or damaged.
In this case, please send us an email with a description and photos to umtausch@barshop.ch. You will then receive further instructions and the return address.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and delivered directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the corresponding amount in the event of a return.

If the item was not marked as a gift or was ordered by the gift giver and shipped to them, the refund will be made to the original purchaser.

Note on legal rights

This right of return supplements your statutory warranty rights, which remain unaffected.
